Nike and joined forces to create the charity project Tied Together. The project was in response to the alarming AIDS/HIV global crisis. The participating cities in this project were New York, London, Milan, Berlin and Paris.

Matt Churchill and Topher Masluk will embark on a journey from Vancouver to Mexico via fixed gear bikes. The 2200 kilometer adventure will be covered on film titled Coast no Coast.

Minnesota Fixed Gear Classic 2010
On June 11-13, a three day track racing event will be held at the National Sports Center Velodrome in Blaine, Minnesota to benefit the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. This is the Minnesota Fixed Gear Classic and registration for it is now open. The race is part of the Nature Valley Grand Prix stage races. Other stages are at Saint Paul, Cannon Falls, Minneapolis, Menomonie and Stillwater. The Nature Valley Grand Prix is part of the volunteer-run event Nature Valley Bicycle Festival.
