Nemesis Project Cycles has a new lineup of riser handlebars for 2009. Their new selection will consist of three different raisers – The “lil Weezy’s”, “Nem-Pro street bar”, and the “Weezy Jefferson moving on up bar” – all differing in size. Each Handlebar is crafted with TrueTemper alloy’s, which makes for one hell of a tough handlebar. The Nemesis Project riser handlebars will also be offered in a total of ten solid and translucent over raw metal colorways. Solid colors include: White, Gloss black, Fluro Pink, Vicious Blue, and Mint; and the translucent over raw metal handlebars will be offered in Red, Blue, Green, Purple, and Brown. Check out Brad’s, from the Nemesis Project, breakdown on his newest creations plus more pictures after the jump. Continue reading →

According to RVCA, many inspiring artists took part in the making of the collection, including Ashley Macomber, Barry McGee, Clare Rojas, C.R. Stecyk III, Dan Murphy, Dmote, Jesse Geller, Josh Lazcano, KAWS, Madsaki, Phil Frost, PM Tenore and Stephen Powers.

Fixtee T-Shirts for September

Fixtee, whose slogan is “New Kustom Bike Tee’s Every Month…”, is testing the demand for there fixed gear themed t-shirt by requesting at least fifty people to vouch for their design before moving into production. This month’s tee features a bike seat with wings and a broken board like object behind it. The fixie themed t-shirts are being offered in yellow, black, white, and red. The price is estimated at about $36.00, which includes shipping. Since production is contingent upon feedback, drop them a line if you like this design; there’s no obligation to purchase by doing so.
Fuji Track Pro

The Fuji Track Pro will be totally revamped for 2009. It features a color pattern of Black and Fuji Red with White Fuji logos and graphics on a Fuji’s specific frame made of alloy, which is much wider then last years Fuji Track Pro. The relatively high seat post, when compared to most track bikes is one of the most commented design features about the new Fuji Track Pro. From what we’ve heard, the seat post is like black liquorish, you either hate it or you love it. However, no matter if you appeal Fuji’s new design or embrace it, there’s no debate about its ingenuity. MSRP $1,700.00

Fuji x Obey 2009 or Fuji League Fixed Gear?

Besides its street appeal, very little is known about this Fuji track bike. However, its close resemblance of Fuji’s 2008 Fuji x Obey has speculators guessing this fixed gear bike is the Fuji x Obey 2009 version. The urban styles of both track bikes are emerging in cities everywhere, but without the help of manufacturing assembly lines; More commonly bikes like these usually start life out at someone’s home, one piece at a time. Has Fuji tapped into the urban fixed gear scene? We’d like to thinks so.
Like the Fuji x Obey that was dropped for 2008, Fuji’s untitled track bike features a black/charcoal matted theme with a red seat post, frame neck, handlebars, wheel sets, tires, graphics, and other red accents rather than gold - to accentuate the bikes beauty. The only clue Fuji left us with is the word “League” (whatever that means) printed on the frame. We were unable to get our hands on any specs, but we’re on the look out.
Bianchi Pista 2009

Introducing the new addition to Bianchi Pista in 2009. Because most conventional cyclist object to riding a fixed gear for the absence of a break to stop with, Bianch has added another Pista to their 2009 line up. The new Bianchi Pista 2009 line up will include the look and feel of a fixed gear bike but with breaking amenities. Not only will the Pista include front and rear breaks for the first time since its existence, but it will also have a straightbar rather than bullhorn handlebars. Bianchi will offer their conventional cyclist friendly track bike in two of their past color schemes, blue and chrome, and at a slightly higher price than Bianchi’s standard Pista.
