With the recent release of the Charge Scissor, Charge Bikes has connected with United Kingdom retailer Wiggle for a bucket saddle. The Charge Bikes x Wiggle Bucket Saddle is inspired by 1980s seat designs, and was built to bring together comfort and style for retro cyclists or fixed gear enthusiasts. Colossi has crossed into a new realm, while previously constructing frames and forks, but for 2010 they introduce different components. The first line of Colossi components goes by the name of C-Unit, and while most of the components are white, a few shown also feature chrome and yellow. Each component which includes stems, cranks, seat post, forks, riser bars, drop bars, and bullhorns are branded with C-Unit. Availability at this time is not known.

As of late, a trend of collaborations have emerged around fixed gear bikes, and the latest collaboration is between Dolan Bkes, Death Spray and Tokyo Fixed. Each brings its own flavor to the fixie, with Dolan supplying the bikes, Death Spray doing what they do best, the artwork. The frame is a Dolan Seta, and the forks are black wave. Other components are Alphina headset, Royce Racing Gold bottom bracket, Tune Geiles stem, Use1 Atom riser handlebars, Strong V grips, and Sugino 75 crank. Tokyo Fixed contributed all of the parts on this collaboration, which are available in its store. No info yet on the availability.

Independent Fabrication will produce 40 Phil Wood 40th Anniversary track bike frames. The true number of the Independent Fabrication Phil Wood 40th Anniversary Track Bike is 41, which the build we see before us was made for Peter over at Phil Wood. The tubing was cut by Independent Fabrication, and sent over to Phil Wood to receive a polish treatment. After, Independent Fabrication welded the pieces together and sent them back to Phil Wood to receive the last polish finish. Retail price and release date has not been determined.

Independent Fabrication, Bodega, and BaileyWorks came together for a collaborative project called Paper Labels. Using a fixed gear, commuter bike and vintage single speed road bike, and each color scheme is taken from a popular spray paint color that is discontinued from Bodega’s secret stash. Colors used were made popular by the 1980s graffiti scene, which are Krylon Aqua Turquoise #2008, Krylon O.D. Khaki #2301, and Krylon Metallic Blue #1903 which are all the foundation colors. Designs are inspired by vintage spray paint cans like Diamond Finish and Smooth Coat. Limited to 15 of each model, and includes matching messenger bags and t-shirts.
