Cool Rain who is known for creating and distributing vinyl toys brings us a small preview of the upcoming Cinelli Fixed Gear toy they plan on releasing. Using the Cinelli Vigorelli, the vinyl toy also comes with a figure dressed in Cinelli clothing. To our understanding, the company designed this Cinelli fixed gear toy without Cinelli’s permission, but their is a rumor that the two have came together and reconciled the differences, although not an official collaboration.

The Last Word starring Ewan McGregor is a love story in a city where people are losing their sensory perception, but moving forward, McGregor will ride a custom fixed gear bike. Purchased from Tokyo Fixed Gear, the frame is a Gorilla Hattara, and Ewan is wearing Pedal.e.d, CCP and Swrve clothing. It is said that Ewan purchased two bikes, one to ride in the movie, and one to take home, as he is addicted to riding.

A small hand picked group of eight fixed gear riders came together for the LIVESTRONG campaign to ride across the European countryside. Each cyclist designed their own model of the Nike Air Zoom Tiempo, a newly adapted urban cycling shoe, but previously known for soccer. The group rode from London to Paris to watch the Stages art show with none other than Lance Armstrong on July 26th. Only hours before did Lance complete the final stage of Tour de France.[...]
